B2C MarCom Director – Helsinki, Finland

- You will lead development of B2C marketing communications efforts from concept through execution working in close collaboration to B2C segment leadership.
- You will be in charge of creating and executing strategic communication plan in line with B2C marketing plans and segment KPIs.

- The ability to lead others, influence and engage people is vital when working with a broad B2C stakeholder group.
- Days are often hectic and the ability to problem-solve across multiple issues at the same time is required.
- You are responsible for the overall management of the B2C Marketing Communications department and marketing communications as follows:
- Direct the development and execution of marketing communications initiatives including for example, digital marketing, major media campaigns, social media and online presence.
- Establish, own and drive a strategic marketing communications strategy that positively affects B2C customers understanding, engagement and commitment with the result of an even stronger connection to the company and leads to a return on investment.
- Develop and execute the annual marketing communications plan for key B2C segments including objectives, plans and specific activities to drive strategic communications.
- Ensure new marketing communication campaigns and programs are aimed at reaching key and strategic sales targets/segments.
- Manage delivery and consistency across all B2C markets for all product and service lines.
- Build and manage the marketing communications budget.
- Actively lead, build and manage the Marketing Communications team to produce high quality initiatives on time and within budget.
- Determine projects which should be resourced and how they should be prioritized.
- Manage relationships with outside marketing communications vendors as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with managers in Marketing, Product Management and Sales.
- Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the Marketing Communications group. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which meets overall company values and expectations.
Qualifications:
- You are a senior marketeer with 10+ years’ experience.
- Minimum qualifications include 5+ years’ experience in marketing communications in high tech and/or telecom industry, minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a team and experience successfully building, coaching, and motivating high performing teams while holding employees accountable.
- Superior level leadership experience managing and leading teams
- Experience creating year/quarterly operative plans based on business requirements, KPIs’ and targets
- Strong business analytics, relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills
- Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent communicator with ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization
- Digital marketing experience, data-driven approach
- Budget responsibility experience
- Excellent communication skills and results-orient mindset
- BA/BSc or MBA
